Test 3 of 4
The Enneagram describes nine types according to what drives you, the core motivation behind your actions, rather than the behavior itself. This test finds your type, free and without registration.
The Enneagram explores your deepest motivations and why you act the way you do. This one asks for a little self-reflection.
The test consists of 90 statements and asks for a little more self-reflection than the others. The questions are about what you seek and what you would rather avoid, not about how you behave in a given situation.
You get a main type with a wing (for example 7w8), which describes which neighboring type colors your main type.
The item bank contains reverse-scored items, so it is not possible to land on a single type by agreeing with everything.
There are no right answers – only honest ones.
Start reflectingThe test measures which of the nine Enneagram types fits you best. Each type has its own core motivation: what drives you, and what you most want to avoid. The test also finds your wing, the neighboring type that colors your main type. Your result says more about why you do things than about what you do.
The test has 90 questions and takes about 8 minutes. Your answers are saved as you go, so you can take a break and pick up later.
The Enneagram is a model with nine personality types. It is about motivation: the needs and fears that steer our choices.
The wing is one of the two types next to your main type. It shapes how your type shows itself. 7w8 means type 7 with wing 8.
Some statements are reversed on purpose. That lets the test catch someone who agrees with almost everything, which makes the result more reliable.
In the Enneagram, your main type is seen as fairly stable. What changes over time is how you live it out.
